AFF course
There are different types of training to become a skydiver. Aros offers the most modern course; the AFF course.
The course begins with a theoretical part and some practical elements. Once you have passed these, you are ready to start jumping for real with instructors.
To get your A-license (solo license) you must pass 25 jumps, which includes 7 AFF jumps, 4 coach jumps, 2 low jumps and 11 solo jumps.
How long the course takes depends on the weather and you, but expect it to take at least a month or two.
Your student jumps are performed together with our AFF instructors and Jump Masters. They are all trained by the Swedish Paragliding Association and ensure that everything goes safely and provide feedback on the jumps. All 25 jumps are performed from an average height of 4000 meters except for 2 so-called low jumps which are performed from 1500 meters and 1000 meters respectively.
We have all the jumping equipment you need to jump and it is included in the course.
Whether a jump is approved or not is determined by your instructor. If you fail any of the jumps, you will need to do the jump until you are approved. This costs extra.
The practical part is individual, so you decide when and how often you want to jump. Provided that jumping is planned and there are instructors available, just jump the iron!

We have two options:
